Yunni No Yu Conditions for Lodging

Scope of Application

Article 1
Accommodation contracts and related agreements concluded between the hotel and guests shall be governed by these terms and conditions. Matters not stipulated herein shall be governed by laws and regulations or generally established practices.
2. In cases where the hotel agrees to special provisions that do not violate laws or customary practices, such provisions shall take precedence over these terms.
 

Application for Accommodation Contract

Article 2
A person who intends to apply for an accommodation contract with the hotel shall provide the following information:
  1. Name of guest, number of guests, contact information, and planned usage plan
  2. Date of stay and expected arrival time
  3. Other matters deemed necessary by the hotel
2. If a guest requests to extend their stay beyond the date specified in (2) above during their stay, the hotel will treat this as a new application for an accommodation contract at the time of the request.
 

Conclusion of Accommodation Contract

Article 3
The accommodation contract shall be deemed concluded when the hotel accepts the application described in the preceding article. However, this shall not apply if the hotel proves that it did not accept the application.
 

Special Provisions Not Requiring Deposit

Article 4
Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding article, the hotel may agree not to require a deposit after the contract is concluded.
 

Refusal of Accommodation Contract

Article 5
The hotel may refuse accommodation in the following cases:
  1. When the application does not conform to these terms
  2. When there are no rooms available due to full occupancy
  3. When the applicant is deemed likely to engage in conduct that violates laws, public order, or morals
  4. When the applicant is clearly recognized as having a contagious disease
  5. When an unreasonable burden is requested in relation to accommodation
  6. When accommodation cannot be provided due to natural disasters, facility failure, or other unavoidable reasons
  7. When the applicant is heavily intoxicated or otherwise likely to cause significant inconvenience to other guests
  8. When the guest repeatedly fails to comply with the designated checkout time
  9. When the applicant is associated with organized crime groups or other antisocial forces
  10. When the applicant belongs to an organization controlled by such groups
  11. When a corporate guest has officers associated with such groups
  12. When the applicant makes violent, threatening, or unreasonable demands toward the hotel or staff
  13. When applicable under prefectural ordinances
 

Guest’s Right to Cancel Contract

Article 6
Guests may cancel the accommodation contract by notifying the hotel.
2. If cancellation is due to reasons attributable to the guest, the hotel may charge a penalty as specified separately.
 

Hotel’s Right to Cancel Contract

Article 7
The hotel may cancel the accommodation contract in the following cases:
  1. When the guest is likely to violate laws or public order
  2. When the guest is clearly recognized as having a contagious disease
  3. When the guest fails to arrive by 10:00 p.m. without notice
  4. When unreasonable demands are made
  5. When accommodation cannot be provided due to force majeure
  6. When fire safety rules or other regulations are violated
  7. When the guest is associated with antisocial forces
  8. When the guest makes violent or unreasonable demands
  9. When the guest violates hotel regulations
2. In such cases, no charges will be made for services not yet provided.
 

Guest Registration

Article 8
Guests shall register the following information at the front desk on the day of arrival:
  1. Name, address, and contact information
  2. For foreign guests: nationality, passport number, place and date of entry
  3. Consent or refusal regarding direct mail communications
  4. Other information deemed necessary by the hotel
2. If payment is to be made by means other than cash, such as vouchers or credit cards, these must be presented at registration.
 

Use of Guest Rooms

Article 9
Guest rooms may be used from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. the following day. Continuous stays may allow all-day use except on arrival and departure days.
2. Additional charges may apply for use beyond these hours.
 

Compliance with Rules

Article 10
Guests must comply with the hotel’s rules and regulations during their stay.
 

Business Hours

Article 11
Main facility hours are as follows:
  1. Front desk: 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  2. Meals: Breakfast 7:00–9:00 a.m., Dinner 5:30–7:00 p.m.
  3. Hot spring: 5:30–8:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m.–12:00 a.m.
 

Payment

Article 12
Accommodation charges shall be paid at the front desk upon departure or when requested.
 

Hotel Liability

Article 13
The hotel shall compensate for damages caused by failure to fulfill contractual obligations, except where not attributable to the hotel.
 

When Rooms Cannot Be Provided

Article 14
If a contracted room cannot be provided, the hotel will arrange alternative accommodation where possible.
 

Handling of Deposited Items

Article 15
The hotel may compensate for loss or damage to items entrusted at the front desk within insurance limits.
 

Storage of Luggage

Article 16
Luggage arriving before the guest will be stored if agreed in advance.
2. Lost items will be kept for 7 days before disposal.
 

Parking Responsibility

Article 17
The hotel provides parking space but is not responsible for vehicle management.
 

Guest Responsibility

Article 18
Guests shall compensate the hotel for damages caused intentionally or negligently.

1. Banquet Time and Additional Room Charges

 The contracted time from the start to the end of the use of the banquet hall (hereinafter referred to as “banquet time”) is subject to the prescribed room charge. If this time is exceeded, an additional room charge will be applied. However, please note that extensions may not be possible depending on the schedule of subsequent bookings.
 

2. Confirmation and Changes to the Number of Paying Guests

 Please inform our staff of the final number of guests requiring meals (hereinafter referred to as “paying guests”) no later than 7 days prior to the event. Any cancellations or changes made after this point will be subject to the cancellation policy stated in Section 4.
 

3. Deposit

 A deposit is required at the time of booking a banquet. The amount and due date will be specified by the hotel based on the estimated total. In the event of changes or cancellations subject to Section 4 after the reservation is confirmed, the cancellation fee may be deducted from the deposit.
 

4. Cancellation Policy

 In the event of cancellation or changes to the date of a reserved banquet, the following cancellation or rescheduling fees, along with any actual expenses incurred (such as signage production or outsourced services), will be charged. Please note that the same policy applies to changes in the number of paying guests.
Cancellations or date changes due to natural disasters, large-scale emergencies, or transportation disruptions are exempt from these charges.
 

Cancellation / Rescheduling Fees

  1. From 14 days prior to the event until 4:00 p.m. two days before
    Cancellation: 30% of the estimated cost + actual expenses
    Rescheduling: 10% of the estimated cost + actual expenses
  2. From 4:00 p.m. two days before until the day before
    Cancellation: 50% of the estimated cost + actual expenses
    Rescheduling: 40% of the estimated cost + actual expenses
  3. On the day of the event
    Cancellation and rescheduling: 100% of the estimated cost + actual expenses
 

Change Fees for Number of Paying Guests

  1. From 7 days prior until 4:00 p.m. two days before
    Changes of less than 20% of the reserved number are accepted until 4:00 p.m. two days prior.
    For reductions exceeding 20%:
    Fee: 30% of the reduced number + actual expenses
  2. From 4:00 p.m. two days before until the day before
    Fee: 50% of the reduced number + actual expenses
  3. On the day of the event
    Fee: 100% of the reduced number + actual expenses
 

5. Arrangement of Contractors

 Arrangements for decorations, entertainment, music, banquet staff, etc., will be made through vendors designated by the hotel. If customers wish to arrange vendors independently, they must inform the hotel in advance and obtain approval to ensure smooth event operations. Please refrain from directly arranging vendors without prior consent.
 Approved vendors must follow the hotel’s rules regarding delivery, setup, removal, signage size and placement, and overall layout, considering aesthetics and guest flow.
 

6. Compensation for Damages

 Guests (including all related parties) and their contractors must take care not to damage hotel facilities, equipment, or furnishings.
 If any damage occurs, guests will be required to repair the damage promptly according to the hotel’s instructions or bear the cost of compensation.
 

7. Prohibited Items and Actions

The following are prohibited:
  1. Bringing pets such as dogs, cats, birds, or livestock.
  2. Bringing flammable or combustible items.
  3. Bringing items that emit strong or unpleasant odors.
  4. Gambling or behavior that disrupts public morals or disturbs other guests.
  5. Moving hotel equipment or fixtures.
  6. Using facilities for purposes other than intended or engaging in illegal acts.
  7. Loud entertainment such as Japanese drums that may disturb other venues.
 

8. Termination of Contract

 The hotel reserves the right to refuse or cancel banquet agreements under certain conditions. These include cases where the organizer or participants are associated with organized crime or other antisocial groups, or belong to corporations connected to such groups.
 Additionally, the contract may be terminated if behavior causes significant disturbance to other guests, or if violent or unreasonable demands are made toward the hotel or its staff.
